As an update. I rang PodPoint this morning re intermittent charging issue due to the interface problems a PodPoint Solo handles the interface with the Q4. They reported that new Podpoint firmware is being made available from Monday 6 March to fix the issue. So hopefully this should fix the reduced charge rate issue (3.5kw v 7kw) I’m having to endure. A new PCB (this will be third one) maybe required. I will keep you posted.
Ok. Back up to full rated charge of 7kw. New PCB fitted (now onto the third PCB) that is capable of taking on the updated software at the time of installation. The unit I had originally fitted goes back to August 21 and the PCB fitted then would not be capable of taking the new software - I assume. I have also assumed that the second PCB I had fitted just less than 12 months ago would again be not fit for purpose also. If you’ve got the charging rate issue I’ve had then give Podpoint a bell.
I’m assuming that this new software was loaded onto the replacement PCB on March 6th. The version of the firmware loaded onto the podpoint is now A30P-3.1.30-0003 This is the latest software version it tells me. Check your version on the Podpoint app.

I don’t understand PodPoint’s version numbering. Mine also says i’m on the latest version but mine is A30P-5.0.2-00015
