Hello, in the last few days my myAudi app has stopped working. There has been no warning, notification or in-app explanation. I have used it for three years, mainly to monitor home charging remotely. Now when I open it it simply says - "Battery - No information available at the moment"

Is it no coincidence that it is just over three years since I bought my Q4 eTron new? it was first registered on 26th October 2021. Is it something to do with subscription to Audi Connect? I do not have a subscription and I have not received any notification that I need a subscription. If this is the explanation, what else would I lose by not having a subscription? Is Audi Connect worth the subscription? Would the SatNav information stop updating automatically? Would it stop suggesting where I could find a charge-point on long journeys? What else would I lose?

I would be grateful to hear from anyone else who has had a similar experience and knows the solution.

I think there is a bug at the moment as my non-electric Audi isn't updating in the app either.

As for Connect, I personally wouldn't bother. Google maps (I think Apple Maps too) has options for electric cars so you can probably plan your route in there and just use CarPlay/Android Auto.

Once the bug is fixed from the Audi side, I would see how you get on without the subscription and then decide if you want the Connect subscription.

Sounds like it could be linked to the Audi Connect subscription, especially if you haven’t had one. I’ve had issues with my app too when I didn’t have the subscription, like losing remote features and live updates. Audi Connect helps with things like navigation, charging stations, and vehicle data, so without it, you might miss those. I’d suggest contacting Audi support just to double-check if that’s the cause. If you use the app a lot for charging or updates, it might be worth considering the subscription, but it’s really up to how much those features matter to you.
