It definitely sounds like a dealer warranty issue. I have just got my car back and searched through every menu and sub menu, all the areas of the app and cannot see any setting that prevents manual changing of the charge level.
Has anyone found a solution to this issue as my car has the same issue and Audi technical team are not very helpful!
I have this issue, it has been with Audi for the last 2 days and they have tried everything but still cannot fix. They have escalated and will come back to me in the next 3-4 weeks

It's only been an issue with certain cars, and only a few I think. My early 2021 car has never had this issue for example, nor has any of the Q4's I have driven had the issue.

Thanks, so if I set the charge level in the app to 100% it will try and send that to the car but it will then fail with some error code.
If I go to the MMI, there is no moveable indicator on the battery % bar that can be moved to increase the set charge level. Switching the battery conservation level on or off has no effect either.
My home charger does not have any set charge level, I use it on my Tesla and the car dictates the charge level
Interestingly I've just experienced this on ours. Thankfully for me, rebooting the MMI seems to have fixed it.
Hold the power button (the round volume control thing in the centre console) for >10 seconds to reboot.
