Removal of rear bench seat

Hi,
Does anyone have any advice for removing the rear bench seat of a Q4 etron? This is to be able to access the rear seat belt mounting points.
In a previous car (Merc C Class), this was done by popping the 2 metal hoops from their plastic clips along the front of the bench. Have tried a similar approach in the Q4 but am not able to get them to pop out.

Any advice much appreciated,

Hi, just wondering if you managed to resolve this. I need to remove the seat base to retrieve two rings that have gone down the seatbelt hole
