Motion sensor

Hi all
Quick question as a basic google isnt helping and I cant find my manual. Going on a cross channel ferry tonight and not sure how to deactivate the motion sensor. Lots of mentions of buttons on drivers door (there isnt one) and pressing the lock button twice (how do you knownif its activated?)
Anyone else managed to find out.

Press the start/stop button to turn the vehicle off once you park (rather than just getting out and it turning off automatically).

On the MMI, there will be a few options and one is to deactivate the motion sensor for that instance.
