Interestingly looks like a service plan is considerably cheaper (https://www.audi.co.uk/uk/web/en/owners ... -tron.html).
Can get 2 year service for £437.87 (Inc VAT), and option to purchase is not restricted (e.g. at sale). So £130 saving (plus VAT saving) which makes it a little easier to stomach. And can spread it over 12 months if you desire.

£571 + vat can’t be right, or at least I hope it isn’t! There isn’t a massive amount of work, or more important, parts you would in a petrol car. No filter or oil for starters!

Agreed it's very expensive for what they state is part of the service (inspection, brake fluid & pollen filter replacements). Confirmed with the dealer twice as was shocked by the price.
I’ve gone back through my emails from November 2021 when I bought the Q4 and estimated cost from Audi of £250 for the inspection service, £75 for brake fluid and £50 for the pollen filter, so understand costs have increased, but £685 is ridiculous.

It seems we're over a barrel with regards to these costs, as without a proper dealer service history I suspect I'm in breach of the terms of the finance agreement.
Now this will no doubt bring out a few negative comments about Halfords, but can we say the Audi dealer has delivered good service and at a level we expected!

First service yesterday. Quoted price £450 for interim service, pollen filter and brake fluid change. I received a telephone call an hour before the car was due in. Took up the offer of a now and then service plan £328 all in. A bit more palatable. So much for EV charges being cheaper. Specialist labour rates in excess of £150/hr???
Rear tyres now down to 3.5mm after 16000mls - Warranted an amber warning. Quoted price £297/corner. Kwikfit £225 for the same make.

Sounds like the dealer trying to make some money. When I queried the need for new tyres at a pretty decent tread they said "Oh it's a lease car so you might need to change them before you give the car back". Super helpful there. Also a new front wiper was quoted for £60.
You are all correct, did you know that Tesla cars don't have a service at all!! when i asked Audi uk to justify their cost there of course referred me back to the dealer who had no idea??
SO here are my thoughts:

Electric motor check now thats a new one? To get to the sealed motor, you have strip the car down and remove the floor which isn't going to happen. As an ex electrical engineers i know they will only be checking for is integrity via a digital mutlimeter.
So anything in excess of lets say £150 is excessive

Has anyone else asked the question why the brake fluid requires changing so early when the brakes are used far less than a petrol / diesel car due to regeneration?
