Re: Anyone have the Q4 dashcam?
You’ll easily get an auto electrician who can wire in an aftermarket solution (many will provide much better functionality than the Audi one) very easily, with cables hidden behind trim for not much more than £50 - £100.

Re: Reverse wouldn’t engage
You don't mention if you had the parking brake applied or if hill-hold assist was active? When applying the accelerator, did the vehicle release the EPB and then fail to apply drive to reverse the vehicle, at which point you applied the brakes or EPB again?

Re: Regeneration
B mode is ‘single pedal driving’. On accelerator pedal lift-off, the vehicle will decelerate using regen braking. So to keep a constant speed - you need some accelerator pedal input. In normal mode (D), the vehicle will ‘cruise’ with no accelerator pedal input. When you apply the brake pedal, the ve...

Re: Home charging delays.
You'll charge at 2.3 kW on the standard 3-pin charger which is about 3 times slower than the 7.2 kW Pod Point - but you'll still add about 30% of state of charge overnight or 72% over a 24 hour period. So while it's an inconvenience, you'll manage. Your purchase of the vehicle from MK Audi means you...

Re: Charging Speed
A 22 kW Pod Point is an AC charger and the Q4 (and most other EVs) can only charge on AC up to 11 kW.
You need DC to charge higher than 11 kW.

Re: pod Point
Pod Point should install the option you chose. The vehicle is supplied with a type 2 cable for use with AC charge points including a home Pod Point. Having a teathered type 2 just makes life more convenient and removes the need to remove and unravel the cable from the boot every time you get home an...

Re: E-tron Charging Service
Programmed the charger into the Nav? Do you mean selecting an Audi identified charge point as a destination, will pre-condition the battery (I’m assuming if it is a high power DC point)? This is not stated in the user manual and I’ve not heard about pre-conditioning on the Q4, but know it’s standard...

Re: Charging Speed
I’ve peaked at around 78 kW on a charge from 30 - 80% on a 150 kW DC charger.
Haven’t got anywhere near 135 kW.

Re: Wireless Android Auto
My Edition 1 has remote unlock from the key fob, but does not have keyless entry - which is a bit weak coming from a four year old A5 that did. I don't believe keyless entry is available in the UK market and it may have been deleted due to the semi-conductor shortage issue. The forthcoming vehicle s...
